UGC NET DECEMBER 2026 – APPLICATION FORM

Step 1: Registration • Visit the official UGC NET website. • Click on New Registration. • Complete DigiLocker verification.

Step 2: Communication Details • Enter current and permanent addresses. • Provide your email ID and mobile number.

Step 3: Personal Details • Fill in category, nationality and family income details.

Step 4: Subject Selection • Select your NET subject and examination medium.

Step 5: Exam Centre • Select up to 4 preferred examination cities.

Step 6: Academic Details • Select Master's degree status (Passed/Appearing). • Enter university name and marks/CGPA.

Step 7: Additional Details • Provide PhD, twin and ex-serviceman details, if applicable.

Step 8: Exam Category • Assistant Professor Only OR • Assistant Professor + JRF.

Step 9: Upload Documents • Capture/upload live photograph. • Upload photograph and signature in prescribed JPG format.

Step 10: Final Submission • Review all details carefully. • Submit the application form.

Step 11: Fee Payment • Pay through UPI, Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.

Step 12: Download Confirmation • Download and save the confirmation page and payment receipt.
